Free Agent is a Los Angeles–based architecture and design practice dedicated to creating spaces that are architecturally rigorous, materially grounded, and informally composed. The studio’s integrated approach encompasses architecture, interiors, and site across a range of scales and typologies.

Principal · RA / AIA

Pil Sun earned her Master of Architecture from SCI-Arc and refined her expertise through work on significant cultural and arts-related projects at MAD Architects, Michael Maltzan Architecture, and Foster + Partners.

She brings the rigor of public architecture into the private realm, along with a working fluency in deal structuring and site economics.

Her experience spans projects of varied scales and contexts, from private residences to complex cultural and institutional work.
